At a special meeting of the Plainview Board of Education on Wednesday, Superintendent Dr. Darron Arlt said that he was "planning for the worst" for the school's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and as part of that plan, he did not expect students return to the school this year. The details and function of that may be get to be determined as the Board has to plan for teachers, classified staff, how to conduct any student activities or events and how to manage the remainder of the "teach at home" school year.
