The Crofton track team headed to Hartington on Tuesday, April 15th for the Trojan Invite.
The ladies took home fourth place as a team and some of the girls set new PR’s and competed hard and strong.
In the 100 meter dash Jacee Anthony took third place. 200 meter dash J. Anthony fifth place, and Brooklyn Guenther took sixth place. Cecilia Wortmann took second place and Sophia Wortmann took sixth place in 800 meter run.
1600 meter run Cecilia Wortmann got first place and PR by nearly 20 seconds with lots of pushing through Wortmann said “I felt really good about this race and I pushed myself the hardest I could and just kept my mindset clean and clear and pushed forward to take first” and Sophia Wortmann took second place.
In the 4x100 meter relay B. Guenther, H. Stout, S. Pinkelman, and J. Anthony took home second place. For the 4x400 meter relay E. Reifenrath, H. Stout, L. Earley, and B. Guenther took home third place. Addyson Ostermeyer took home first place for pole vault and also PR and J. Anthony took home second place in pole vault as well.
Hudson Stout took sixth place in long jump and second place in triple jump with Madelyn Buschkamp taking home fifth place in triple jump. Seanna Pinkelman took home first place and also PR in shot put and with Emma Kuchta taking fourth place.
In Discus Throw Emily Guenther took home fifth place. The Lady Crofton Track team pushed really hard and worked their best to get new PRs with taking home fourth place.
