Marsh stated, “I’m just really excited to be a part of the team at state, and get the opportunity to run at state as a freshman. It’s another opportunity to give the race my all and run again this season, with this team.”
Out of the boys the only to qualify was sophomore Kaden Arens, who placed sixth with a time of 18:42.
Arens said, “It doesn’t feel the best to be the only qualifier, I would’ve loved to have more teammates run with me although I am still happy I made it.”
Not far behind was senior Charles Steffen in 22nd with a time of 20:01. Senior Darin Babcock had a time of 20:21 getting him a place of 24th. Overall the team and coach are happy with the results.
